Free Pre-Med Biology worksheet on inorganic molecules for students preparing for medical university entrance exams in Hungary and other international medical admission exams. This USEB Acade

Preparing for a medical university entrance exam can quickly lead to a collection of textbooks, notes, videos and online resources. But having more material does not always make studying easier.

At USEB Academy, we believe good Pre-Med preparation starts with clear explanations, structured practice and study materials that help students actively work with what they are learning.

That is why we are developing a growing collection of Pre-Med Biology and Chemistry study resources, including worksheets, practice materials and structured learning resources for students preparing for medical university entrance examinations.

Many of these resources are available free of charge through the USEB Academy website.

Free Pre-Med Study Resources

Our study materials are designed for students preparing for Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences entrance examinations, particularly international students considering medical universities in Hungary.

The resources can be used alongside tutoring or independently for:

  • learning new concepts;
  • reviewing previously studied topics;
  • active recall;
  • diagram and structure practice;
  • entrance exam preparation;
  • identifying areas that require further revision.

Rather than simply presenting information to read, many USEB worksheets contain blanks, diagrams, questions and activities that encourage students to actively retrieve and apply their knowledge.

Pre-Med Biology Worksheets & Study Materials

Biology entrance preparation involves connecting concepts across several areas, from biological molecules and cell biology to molecular genetics and human physiology.

Our Pre-Med Biology resources are designed to help students organise these topics into smaller, more manageable sections while developing a deeper understanding of biological mechanisms.

Our Biology resource collection includes and will continue to expand across areas such as:

  • inorganic molecules;
  • water and its biological properties;
  • carbohydrates;
  • lipids;
  • proteins and amino acids;
  • nucleic acids;
  • cell structure and organelles;
  • cell membranes and transport;
  • DNA replication;
  • transcription and translation;
  • genetics;
  • cell division;
  • metabolism;
  • human physiology.

Pre-Med Biology: Inorganic Molecules Worksheet

One of the resources in our Biology collection is the Pre-Med Biology: Inorganic Molecules Worksheet.

This worksheet introduces important inorganic substances found in living systems and provides structured practice covering concepts such as:

  • the molecular structure of water;
  • polarity;
  • hydrogen bonding;
  • the biological properties of water;
  • acids and bases;
  • pH;
  • mineral ions and electrolytes;
  • the biological importance of inorganic substances.

The material is designed to be completed actively. Students encounter explanations alongside fill-in-the-blank sections, diagrams and questions that can help reveal whether a concept has actually been understood.

Pre-Med Chemistry Worksheets & Study Materials

Our resource library also includes Pre-Med Chemistry study materials.

Chemistry preparation requires a combination of conceptual understanding and regular problem-solving. For this reason, our Chemistry materials are designed to support both the theoretical foundations of Chemistry and their practical application.

Resources may cover areas including:

  • atomic structure;
  • the periodic table;
  • chemical bonding;
  • moles and stoichiometry;
  • solutions and concentrations;
  • acids, bases and pH;
  • oxidation and reduction;
  • inorganic chemistry;
  • organic chemistry;
  • biologically important molecules.

As the USEB resource library grows, additional Biology and Chemistry worksheets and practice materials will be added to the website.

How to Use a Pre-Med Worksheet Effectively

A worksheet becomes much more useful when it is treated as a learning tool rather than simply something to complete.

We recommend using our materials in several stages.

1. Complete It Without Immediately Checking Your Notes

Try to answer as much as possible from memory. The areas you cannot complete are useful because they show you what needs further revision.

2. Review the Concepts You Missed

Return to your notes, textbook or tutoring materials and review the underlying concept rather than simply memorising the missing word.

3. Explain the Topic Aloud

Once you have completed the worksheet, try explaining the major concepts without looking at it.

For example, instead of only remembering that water is polar, try to explain why water is polar and how its polarity contributes to its biological properties.

4. Return to the Worksheet Later

Revisiting a topic after several days can help determine whether the information has moved beyond short-term familiarity and can still be retrieved independently.

Biology and Chemistry Should Not Be Studied Separately

One of the most important parts of Pre-Med preparation is recognising the connection between Biology and Chemistry.

Understanding chemical bonding helps explain the structure of biological molecules. Knowledge of acids and bases becomes relevant when studying buffers and physiological pH. Understanding molecular interactions makes proteins, cell membranes and DNA easier to interpret.

For students preparing for medical studies, Chemistry provides part of the molecular foundation upon which Biology is built.

This is why our Biology and Chemistry resources are developed to complement one another wherever possible.

Preparing for Medical University Entrance Exams in Hungary

International students preparing for medical university entrance examinations in Hungary may be expected to demonstrate knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and related scientific areas, depending on the university and programme.

Students considering institutions such as Semmelweis University, the University of Pécs, the University of Szeged or the University of Debrecen should always review the current official admissions and entrance examination requirements published by the institution to which they plan to apply.

Our resources are intended to provide independent supplementary study and practice support. They are not official materials of any university.

Need More Than Study Materials?

Some students can progress effectively through independent study, while others benefit from having difficult concepts explained, asking questions and following a more structured preparation plan.

USEB Academy provides Pre-Med Biology and Chemistry tutoring through:

  • private 1-to-1 tutoring;
  • small-group tutoring;
  • live online tutoring;
  • in-person tutoring in Budapest.

During tutoring, students can work with USEB Academy's own presentations, worksheets and practice materials while developing their conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills and scientific communication.

Explore the USEB Study Materials Library

We will continue adding new Pre-Med Biology and Chemistry worksheets, study materials and practice resources to the USEB Academy website.

If you are preparing for a medical university entrance examination, explore our Study Materials library and choose the resources that match the topics you are currently studying.

Start with a topic, work through it actively, identify what you do not yet understand, and build from there.

Important: USEB Academy is an independent tutoring and academic support provider. Our study materials are independently developed educational resources and are not official entrance examination materials of, affiliated with, or endorsed by any university. Admission requirements and examination content may change. Applicants should always consult the relevant university's official admissions information.
